Due to some fortunate timing, this edition of "Bangers of the Week" falls upon the last day of October, and one of the spookiest nights of the year, Halloween. I figured it would be a fun challenge to find all the creepiest Halloween-themed bangers out there for the week. Buckle up gals and ghouls, it's the Halloween edition of Bangers of the Week.

Something Trance

Surprisingly(?) there aren't that many trance tracks that revolve around Halloween, the undead, pumpkins, etc. I had to reach a little with this one, but count it. Lindsey Sterling is an incredible violinist who somehow manages to combine her talents on the strings with some serious electronic elements. This one, entitled "Moon Trance" is even set in a grave yard with dancing zombies. Perfect.

Something New

Here's a brand new one from dubstep/trap producer Whiiite released just in time for Halloween, and aptly titled "Ghosts and Goblins". While the drums and bass are nothing but dubstep, the haunting, minor synths are enough to even have Freddy Kreuger looking over his shoulder. When the main beat kicks in though, Whiiite will have all the horror film stars dancing along.

Something Different

It wouldn't be an EDM Halloween without the classic "Ghosts N Stuff" by none other than Deadmau5. But this is supposed to be something different, so I give to you the remix by Swiss DJ, Tezla. This hard hitting house remix sounds almost nothing like the original, but carries through many of the sub-elements that made this Deadmau5 tune a classic.

Enjoy your candy, get all costumed up, and remember, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, nothing works better than heavy bass music right to the dome.
