Hello all, I'm Sean from bangerofthday.com. This is my first post over here at DBW, and I couldn't be more excited! I was asked to share what I'm listening to weekly in a post, and I'm more than happy to oblige. Sharing the music I love is a passion of mine, and I look forward to sharing with all of you. We'll see how things go, and this is definitely subject to change, but right now I'm thinking of doing this as: Something Trance; Something New; Something Different.

Something Trance - You guys are most likely here because of your love of Dash and their amazing trance sound. I'll do my best to share something in the genre you've never heard, or at the very least, something you've forgotten.

Something New - I'll share one of my favorite new songs from the week, across all the various genres of dance music.

Something Different - This one will be fun. Whether it's a unique remix, a little known artist, or a crazy collaboration, this one will be a total wildcard!

Something Trance(ish)

Call me a suck up, but seriously, I've been a big fan of both Trance legends Dash Berlin and party starters Krewella individually for some time now, so I was thrilled to hear they were coming together on a remix (and brand new video) to Krewella's recent smash hit, "Live for the Night". Somehow, Dash takes this catchy, pop-inspired hit and turns it into a cross-genre anthem, accessible to fans of both artists!

Something New

This is a brand new track out this week from a young, Dutch artist out of Hardwell's growing stable of talent on his Revealed Recordings label. While he definitely goes toe-to-toe with Hardwell as far as musical intensity goes, Julian Calor definitely brings his own distinct style to "Space Dial". With it's melodic buildups and pounding bass, this one is a total banger.

Something Different

Finally, we have a track from a young British producer who I've had a chance to interact with a bit and featured recently on my site. Cumminz has only been making music for a short time now, but has already released some pretty impressive mashups. "Reload Ocarina" is a head on collision between the Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash epic "Reload" and "Ocarina" by the likes of Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, & Wolfpack.

That's all for this week. Leave a comment, let me know what you think? You can also find me making noise on the twitter machine, facebook, etc. All that good stuff is on my profile. And a big thanks once again to the entire DBW team for giving me the opportunity to write here and share some great music with everyone!
